La base di questa lampada è rotonda ed è lavorata da un unico pezzo di marmo, eseguito tutto a mano con marmo nero-verde proveniente da Mamallapuram nel Tamil Nadu stato federale dell?India del sud.
La lampada, circolare, è composta da 9 facce di Shiva con diverse aperture da cui fluisce la luce e come si vede in una fotografia, parte del fascio luminoso si proietta sul soffitto componendo un disegno ?geometrico?, nel caso a più colori utilizzando una lampadina led di tre colori . Con una lampadina bianca la luce aumenta di intensità. Questa lampada/statua è unica in quanto è stata scolpita in questo raro pazzo di marmo nero
