Dank der 34 Zoll bzw. 86 Zentimeter Bildschirmdiagonale füllt der S34E790C das Blickfeld bei einem Sitzabstand von 0,5 Metern so effektiv aus, dass ein gewisser Surround-Eindruck entstehen kann. Die 3000R-Krümmung hilft dabei merklich. Die Größe hat beim 21:9-Monitor keine ergonomische Nachteile. Aufgrund der Abmessungen und einem Gesamtgewicht von 9,9 Kg ist der S34E790C nicht für häufiges Umpositionieren geeignet. Bedienelemente hat der S34E790C bis auf einen Ministick auf der rechten unteren Rückseite keine, die Navigation durch die Betriebseinstellungen funktioniert damit aber tadellos und präzise. Der Bildschirm lässt sich von-2 bis 20° Grad neigen und höhenverstellen, ein Kabeltunnel im Standfuß bündelt die angeschlossenen Strippen. Die da sind: HDMI- (2x), Displayport- (1x)-Anschlüssen sowie das externe Netzteil und Klinkenanschluss, sowie vier USB-Buchsen. Verarbeitung und Stabilität sind herausragend. Anstelle aufdringlicher Leuchteffekte, farbiger Zierelemente oder sonstiger Merkmale eines "Gaming-Looks" setzt Samsung auf den typisch eleganten Look in Brushed-Aluminium-Optik, nur die Rahmeninnenseite ist Klavierlack-Schwarz.

Der Monitor ist neuwertig und in tadellosem Zustand. Das Netzteil wird separat mitgegeben.
