Mysterious doors with lizard-shaped knobs, talking stone figures and a nanny gone berserk with an axe… Liv Silber’s dreams have been rather creepy lately. One of them, in particular, has been troubling her. In this dream she was in a graveyard at night and watched four boys taking part in a dark magical ritual. 

At least the boys form a very real connection to Liv’s life, because Grayson and his three best friends really do exist. Recently Liv has been going to the same school as the four. Actually they’re quite nice. 

Truly unsettling — even more unsettling than any graveyard at night — is that the boys know things about her that she never revealed during the day — but did in her dream. Could that really be? How they manage it is a total mystery to her, but Liv has never been able to resist a good mystery…
