Korg TRIDENT MK2 MKII.

The Korg TRIDENT MKII, no longer available. A clearly nicer and more complete version than the MK1. Visually brilliant, in excellent condition, electronically a jewel, completely original. Works perfectly (recently checked by an Italian synthesizer guru). This instrument features three fully-fledged analogue sections:

Synthesizer, brass and strings, plus an excellent analogue flanger. Management and operation of the three sections and highly flexible effects with extremely effective splits and layers.

The instrument is fully based on Dave Rossum’s legendary SSM full amplifiers (VCO, VCF, ENF, VCA) and delivers a high-end analogue sound worthy of a vintage synthesizer with discrete components. A punchy, dense and defined tone, organic and brilliant, both gentle and aggressive, but above all a natural sound full of overtones that makes every performance sound beautiful and extremely musical. Only the OBX Oberheim (and to a lesser extent the Prophet-5 REV2) are able to produce a similar, essential yet exceptionally effective sound. Separate outputs for each section and pedals also enable expressive modifications that are unparalleled for a vintage synthesizer.

Compared to the MkI version, the Korg Trident MkII offers improved stability thanks to optimized cooling and a more robust power supply, as well as a more user-friendly memory system, a second ADSR envelope for the VCA, and 32 memory slots for presets.
