Like a dry summer morning in Provence, when you crush thyme between your fingers: Point du Jour is herbaceous, clear and invigorating. Dried thyme takes centre stage, surrounded by eucalyptus and clary sage, underpinned by a dry shimmer of incense in the background. Sparse and calm, with no sweetness at all.

Serge Lutens is one of the defining niche houses of recent decades, known for distinctive, often uncompromising fragrances. Point du Jour comes from the pared-back Matin-Lutens collection, dedicated to morning and water.
