Original mid-century sideboard by Victoria Möbel from Baar, Switzerland, with its historic Victoria label preserved and the characteristic red ladybird logo. The clean asymmetrical front, warm wood veneer and delicate black metal frame give this piece a particularly elegant, typically modernist appearance.

The compact body is finished in warm brown wood veneer. On the left are three stacked drawers with integrated handle rails, while the right half is occupied by a large, almost flush flap door. It opens downwards and is held at the sides by metal bands – ideal as a small bar, secretary compartment or additional storage space. The inside of the flap is veneered in a distinctly darker, redder tone and creates a beautiful contrast with the outer surface.

The sideboard stands on a simple black-painted square metal frame, making the solid wooden body appear visually light and almost floating. The combination of wood, metal and the pared-back geometric design is characteristic of Swiss furniture design from the 1970s.

Condition: 
The piece is in authentic used vintage condition. The top shows clear signs of use and visible surface discolouration or abrasion. There are minor veneer chips on some edges, particularly on one drawer front; one upper corner of the body has a more noticeable impact or pressure mark.
