Characterful table lamp by Alvino Bagni from the 1970s. With its round, almost spherical shape, it is a typical example of the Space Age era. The simple form and the strong contrast between the dark lower part and the white lampshade give the lamp a very clear and modern appearance.

The base is made of dark brown, glossy glazed ceramic. A hemispherical shade made of white opal glass sits on top. When switched off, both parts together form an almost closed sphere. The glass shade can be removed; the light bulb is located underneath.

The original cable with switch and plug is present and reflects the lamp’s characteristic period style.

Condition:
Good vintage condition. The white glass shade has some scratches. The cable, switch and plug also show age-related discolouration and signs of use.
