Classic vintage bentwood chair by Thonet from 1981. Its characteristic construction in bent beechwood draws on the traditional design language of the famous Viennese café chairs and combines a light, elegant silhouette with functional stability.

The open-back design consisting of two curved bentwood arches is particularly attractive. The flowing lines continue in the slender legs and the curved supports beneath the seat. The light, warm-toned beechwood gives the chair a timeless and homely appearance.

The seat is made with classic Viennese cane. The fine octagonal cane pattern creates a beautiful contrast with the solid bentwood and emphasises the chair’s traditional Viennese café character. Thanks to its restrained design, it can be combined with both classic and modern interiors.


Condition:
Very good vintage condition with light age-related signs of use on the wood. The Viennese cane is very well maintained, taut and free from noticeable damage or breaks. Overall, a well-preserved Thonet chair that is ready for immediate use.
