Striking vintage arc floor lamp from the Space Age era, dating from the 1970s. The elegant combination of shiny chrome, a large white shade and a heavy marble base gives the lamp the characteristic futuristic look of this period.

The frame consists of a slim chromed metal arm that rises upwards in a wide-reaching arc. The construction is telescopic, allowing the reach and position of the lamp head to be adjusted. At the end of the arc is the distinctive hemispherical shade made of white acrylic glass/Plexiglas, which can be angled via a joint.

The solid, round base made of light marble with grey veining, visually resembling classic Carrara marble, creates a particularly high-quality impression. It not only forms an attractive contrast to the chromed frame, but also provides the necessary stability for the widely projecting construction. The lamp is conveniently operated via the foot switch on the black cable.

Condition: Good vintage condition with age- and use-related signs of wear. The lamp is in working order and is also shown switched on in the pictures.
