Simple, functional wooden laundry or storage chest with warm, natural grain. The cubic body stands on a slightly recessed plinth and is topped with a hinged lid. The minimalist design and straight-lined construction give the piece a typical mid-century character.

The lid is attached with hinges and features a curved metal support that props it up when open. The interior contains a generous storage compartment. Thanks to its stable, flat lid, the closed chest can also be used as a small seat, side table or surface for placing items.

The combination of the lighter wood grain of the body and the darker sections on the plinth and lid is particularly attractive. This gives the piece a restrained yet distinctive appearance, and allows it to be combined well with both classic and modern interiors.

Condition: Authentic vintage condition with clear age-related marks. Discolouration, scratches and signs of use are present, particularly on the lid and in the interior. These emphasise the original character of the piece.
