Striking vintage sideboard from the 1970s, featuring a particularly successful combination of dark wood-grain décor and cream-white fronts. The straight, compact design and distinctive ring handles give the piece a typical Mid-Century character with clear Space Age influences.

The dark brown body has a very attractive, high-contrast wenge look with elongated wood grain. The lively pattern is particularly impressive on the top panel. The light, slightly textured cream-white fronts provide an appealing contrast. The combination is graphic and elegant, making the sideboard a characteristic piece of furniture from its era.

The front is symmetrically arranged: the upper section contains two generously sized drawers, with two separate storage compartments below. The left compartment is accessed via a flap door opening downwards, held by a metal fitting. On the right is a side-opening door. Despite its relatively compact dimensions, the chest offers plenty of practical storage space.

A special design detail is the four original-looking ring handles in dark brown and metal. Their geometric, almost technical design emphasises the Space Age character and creates a strong accent against the cream-coloured fronts. The understated plinth in a dark wood look also blends harmoniously into the clear overall design.

Condition:
The piece is in a beautiful used vintage condition, with age- and use-related signs of wear. The fronts, edges and surfaces show minor marks and light abrasion.
