Characterful vintage garden and terrace table from the mid-20th century in the classic aesthetic of Swiss contract furniture. The vivid red tabletop combined with the minimalist white tubular frame gives the table a distinctive retro look.

The rectangular red tabletop has strongly rounded corners and a raised, softly rounded edge. The surface displays a beautiful patina developed over several decades. The material appears to be compression-moulded plastic or glass-fibre-reinforced plastic/polyester; without a manufacturer’s marking, however, I would not conclusively determine the exact material composition.

The folding function is particularly practical: the tabletop can be released from its horizontal position via the side fittings and the metal bar running underneath, then raised vertically. This means the table requires significantly less floor space when not in use. The stable T-shaped base consists of white-coated round steel tubing and is additionally reinforced by cross braces.

Condition: 
The table is in an authentic vintage condition with a pronounced, attractive patina. The red top has scratches, abrasion, matt areas and minor dents. The white metal frame and the fittings also show age-related paint abrasion, signs of use and, in places, traces of oxidation.
