Striking vintage desk lamp with a classic gooseneck and eye-catching red metal shade, dating from the 1960s. The combination of the vibrant colour, chrome-plated flexible arm and heavy grey metal base gives the lamp a characteristic mid-century and industrial look.

The perforated lampshade is particularly attractive: a row of small openings runs around the upper section of the red metal shade. When switched on, additional light shines through them, creating a decorative halo – a small but highly effective design detail.

Condition

Authentic vintage condition with age- and use-related marks. The shade has minor paint and signs of wear, particularly on the inside and along the edges. The grey base also shows age-appropriate patina. The cable and inline switch show visible signs of wear and/or discolouration. These marks are consistent with the lamp’s age and enhance its original vintage character
