Simple vintage table by the Swiss manufacturer Schaffner, with a clear, functional design. The square white tabletop rests on a central metal base and gives the table a pared-back, matter-of-fact appearance.

The underframe is made of galvanised metal and ends in a stable, cross-shaped four-leg base. This makes the table appear light while remaining stable. The combination of the light tabletop and industrial-looking metal base is typical of functional Swiss hospitality and outdoor furniture.
