Characterful vintage dining or work table in the Mid-Century style, dating from the 1960s. The combination of the warm, dark-stained wooden frame and the generous pastel yellow tabletop with its surrounding metal edge is particularly appealing – a very typical material and colour effect of post-war modernism.

The rectangular tabletop has a durable yellow laminate/Resopal surface. A silver-coloured metal edge fully frames the top and creates a clear, graphic accent. The base is classically constructed and stands on four slender, slightly tapered wooden legs. This makes the generously sized table appear surprisingly light and elegant.

A special detail is the centrally integrated drawer on one of the long sides. It has a long handle worked directly into the wood, and the interior is divided into individual compartments by several wooden dividers. 

Condition:
The table is in good, authentic vintage condition. The wood shows a beautiful natural patina as well as age-related signs of wear. The metal edge and tabletop also have minor scratches, abrasion and a few small dents.
