Decorative vintage leather ball in a particularly large size with a beautiful patina that has developed over decades. The ball is made of several hand-stitched leather segments and impresses with its organic shape as well as its warm honey-brown colouring. The visible signs of use, small discolorations and the natural ageing of the leather give the object an authentic character and make it an expressive collector’s piece with a touch of sports history. Thanks to its sculptural effect, the ball is ideally suited as a decorative object for mid-century, loft or industrial interiors. Especially when combined with vintage sports equipment, leather objects or dark wooden furniture, it creates a coherent, period-typical atmosphere. Due to its size and workmanship, it is likely an early training, gymnastics or medicine ball from the mid-20th century.

Condition: Used vintage condition with clear patina, pressure marks, discolorations and age-related signs of wear on the leather. The seams are overall in good condition. Beautiful original surface with an authentic character.
