Spacious vintage sofa made of dark brown leather, dating from the late 1970s. The design is exemplary of the voluminous, comfort-oriented formal language of this period and combines a striking presence with a softly upholstered, inviting appearance.

The strongly segmented upholstery of the seat and backrest is characteristic. Numerous individually stitched upholstery sections create a rhythmic, almost graphic structure and give the sofa its distinctive look. The high, slightly reclined backrest is framed by broad, softly upholstered armrests that flow seamlessly into the enclosed, low-set body.

The appearance of the dark brown leather, developed over the years, is particularly beautiful. Creases, varying colour nuances and the pronounced patina of the seat emphasise the authentic vintage character and give the sofa a warm, lived-in presence. Despite its compact width, the design has a strong presence due to the high backrest and generous upholstery, while appearing balanced and architectural.

Condition: Good vintage condition with clear age- and usage-related marks on the leather. The seat and armrests in particular show heavier abrasion, scratches and colour changes. There are also isolated signs of use on the lower edges.
