Expressive vintage art glass jug in an intense ruby to Bordeaux red with an elegantly curved silhouette and transparent handle.

The bulbous body rests on a slightly raised round foot and transitions via a narrower, multiply modelled neck into a wide flared opening with a small spout. Particularly decorative is the clear, ribbed glass handle, which forms a strong contrast to the deep red body.

Looking into the opening reveals a light to whitish opaque inner layer. Together with the rich red, this overlay or cased glass effect creates beautiful colour depth. In the lower area, the glass becomes denser with dark ruby and aubergine tones, while the opening appears significantly lighter and more luminous when viewed against the light.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-related signs of use. Small irregularities and inclusions in the glass may be production-related and enhance its handcrafted character.
