Elegant vintage chest of drawers by Victoria Baar from the 1970s. The piece stands out through the contrasting combination of a dark brown wooden frame and cream-white surfaces, as well as its distinctly clear, geometric design language.

The dark frame surrounds the body like an architectural structure and flows seamlessly into the four slender legs. The two large cream-white doors with softly rounded corners sit almost flush within the frame and are each opened using a small round metal knob. The visible wood grain of the frame creates a beautiful contrast with the calm, light surfaces.

Behind the two doors is generous storage space with a continuous shelf dividing the interior into two levels.

The rounded corners, slender proportions and strong light-dark contrast give the sideboard a timeless character between Mid-Century Modern, 1970s Modern and Space Age.

Condition: Very beautiful and well-maintained vintage condition with slight age- and use-related signs of wear.
