Very beautiful, compact vintage chest of drawers in mid-century style, dating from the 1970s. The piece impresses with its clean-lined architecture, warm dark brown walnut look and particularly harmonious, consistently matched grain.

The front consists of two large hinged doors, whose understated wood grain is interrupted only by two distinctive, circular wooden handles. The round, slightly protruding handles are a beautiful period-typical design detail and give the otherwise very minimalist form its own character.

Behind the doors is generous storage space. A height-adjustable shelf divides the interior and can be fitted at different heights as needed thanks to the existing rows of holes. The doors are fitted with concealed furniture hinges.

The consistent design of the entire piece is particularly attractive: not only the front, sides and top, but also the back is finished in the same wood look.

The slightly recessed plinth makes the compact body appear visually somewhat lighter. The frame strips, slightly protruding at the sides along the upper and lower edges, further emphasise the clear geometric construction.

Condition:
The piece is in very good used vintage condition. The photos show only minor signs of age and use. The surfaces, doors, interior and fittings are all very well maintained overall.
