Simple and functional vintage folding table in the mid-century style, dating from the 1960s. The clean construction combines a light, easy-care tabletop with a robust wooden edging and a pared-back dark lacquered metal frame.

The rectangular tabletop has a cream-coloured laminate surface and a surrounding solid wooden edge in warm brown. The deliberate contrast between the light surface, aged wood and dark metal gives the table its characteristic matter-of-fact industrial expression.

The folding base is particularly practical. Two metal mechanisms are located beneath the tabletop, allowing the two T-shaped pairs of legs to be folded in. This means the table can be stored relatively space-efficiently when not in use. 

Condition: Authentic vintage condition with clear signs of age and use. The wooden edges show abrasion, scratches, discolouration and, in places, more pronounced surface wear. The light tabletop also has minor scratches and signs of use.
