Exceptional vintage mirror with a sculptural shape and two side-hinged wooden wings. The design combines a large, rounded mirror surface with warm wood decoration and an almost graphic, symmetrical line structure – a distinctive home furnishing object with clear Mid-Century and Space Age appeal.

The two side wings can be opened and closed via metal hinges. When closed, two large, arched wooden surfaces are positioned in front of the mirror; when open, almost the entire round or oval mirror surface is visible.

The interplay between the cool mirror surface and the warm wood tone is particularly appealing. The two narrow wooden struts in the lower section also give the piece an elegant, architectural appearance.

Condition:

Good vintage condition consistent with its age, with normal signs of use.

Overall, the mirror surfaces are clear and well preserved. Some areas may show slight age-related marks. The wood decoration of the folding wings has an even, warm surface with minor signs of use. The metal hinges are present and the movable wings can be opened and closed.

The wooden struts in the lower section also show age-related signs of use and small holes or attachment marks.
