Expressive vintage ceramic vase with two generously shaped handles and an intensely shifting glaze ranging from red to dark red. The organic, slightly irregular shape and lively surface give the piece a distinctly handcrafted character.

The vase’s bulbous body tapers towards the base and transitions upwards into a narrower neck. Two raised handles connect the shoulder section to the upper rim, giving the vase its distinctive, almost sculptural silhouette.

The rich glaze with varying shades of red, burgundy and darker tones is particularly appealing. Its uneven distribution creates numerous shades and textures that emerge differently depending on the incidence of light. Small irregularities in the shape and surface emphasise the individual character of the ceramic.


Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-related signs. The glaze shows irregularities, minor scratches, abrasion and occasional signs of use, particularly around the handles and opening.
