Exceptional vintage wall-mounted coat rack in the typical Sputnik/atomic design of the Space Age era. The combination of chromed metal, a cream-coloured central body and the differently coloured ball ends makes this coat rack a striking eye-catcher.

Several chromed hook arms radiate out from the oval central section. The spherical end pieces in black, orange, blue, green, red, pink and yellow create the characteristic playful retro look. At the same time, the hooks pointing in different directions offer plenty of space for jackets, bags, hats or accessories.

The coat rack is mounted using a sturdy, curved chrome arm with a round wall plate. This construction makes the actual coat-rack element appear to float slightly in front of the wall and emphasises its three-dimensional, almost sculptural effect.

Condition:
The overall condition is good and authentically vintage. The chrome has slight age-related signs of wear and minor surface scratches. The cream-coloured body also shows minor marks, while the coloured balls are generally well preserved.
