This compact stool impresses with its reduced, functional design and the charming mix of materials from the post-war period. The frame is made of solid wood with slightly rounded edges and a solid, box-like construction that gives the object a stable, down-to-earth presence. The seat surface is fitted with an attached resopal board, made in a soft mint green and divided into four sections. This graphic layout gives the stool a subtle visual structure and creates an exciting contrast with the warm wood tone of the underframe. The visible screws and the slightly patinated surface highlight the authentic, industrially influenced origin. Thanks to its low height, the piece is versatile as a children’s stool, small side table, or a decorative object with functional added value — a nice example of simple, honest design from the middle of the 20th century. Condition: Used, age-appropriate condition with visible signs of use. The resopal surface has scratches, minor chipping at the edges, and discolouration; the wood shows pressure marks, abrasion, and patina. Overall stable and well usable. Dimensions: L33 x W23 x H19 cm
