Striking vintage ceiling or wall light with a softly rounded, dome-shaped glass shade in warm honey yellow. The pared-back form and evenly coloured, translucent glass body give the light a distinct Mid-Century or Space Age appeal.

The shade is designed as a flat hemisphere, or UFO shape, and produces a pleasantly warm, diffuse light when switched on. The glossy glass surface and soft yellow tone create a very cosy light, particularly beautiful in a hallway, bedroom, living room or as a decorative wall light.

The original metal fitting is technically interesting: the light has a round base plate with socket as well as a mechanical clamping or spreading mechanism. A lever moves several metal arms that hold the glass shade from the inside. This construction enables a comparatively elegant attachment without visible screws in the glass.

Condition:
The overall condition is good and authentically vintage. The glass appears intact and shows no noticeable chips or cracks in the photos. The metal fitting has age-related signs of use, patina and slight oxidation, which is normal for a piece of this age.
