Distinctive vintage halogen table lamp by Eichhoff-Werke, type E 3973, made in West Germany.

The design is typical of the futuristic, technical style of the late 1970s: a flat, organically shaped base made of high-gloss black plastic is combined with an angular metal arm and a compact, likewise black spotlight. The combination of rounded forms and technical-looking metal parts gives the lamp a pronounced Space Age/High-Tech character.

The metal arm can be tilted at the base and partially folded in. In addition, the lamp head can be swivelled via the side bracket, allowing the light beam to be individually directed. The spotlight contains a structured reflector for directional light. A switch is located directly on the base.

Condition:
Visually, the lamp is in good, authentic vintage condition. The high-gloss black surfaces show age-related scratches and signs of use; a small lighter blemish is visible on the base. The metal arm also shows slight signs of use.
