Striking vintage Knut swivel chair from IKEA, designed in the expressive style of the 1990s with clear references to the Memphis movement. The combination of strong blue, signal-red backrest and yellow seat gives the chair a playful, almost graphic presence. The textured plastic shells are slightly ergonomically shaped and sit on a height-adjustable central metal column. The five-arm steel base in blue with contrasting red castors emphasises the deliberately colourful design. Seat height is mechanically adjustable via a lateral locking screw – functional and robust. The backrest is also height-adjustable and fixed with a red plastic rotary knob. Typical of IKEA designs of the time, the model combines functionality with bold colour choices and clear lines. A characterful piece for an office, studio or as a deliberate statement in the living space.

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related signs of use, minor paint chips on the frame and wear on the castors. Plastic shells with occasional scratches, technically flawless and stable. Original IKEA sticker on the underside present.
