Elegant vintage office cabinet from the renowned U series, designed by Jiří Jiroutek for the Czechoslovak manufacturer Interiér Praha. The straight-lined корпус with warm wood veneer and slender black metal feet reflects the reduced, functional design language of 1960s Czechoslovak design.

Behind the two lockable doors is a carefully structured interior. Various open compartments are complemented by several removable or adjustable shelves and shallow document compartments. 

Characteristic is the contrast between the calm, almost handleless front and the functionally designed interior. The doors are locked with a central lock; the original key is included. The raised black metal feet give the compact корпус a light, clear appearance.

The largely preserved original fittings and the period-typical construction make this cabinet a beautiful example of Czechoslovak mid-century design. Its simple design allows it to be integrated into modern living spaces as well as offices, studios or commercial interiors.

Condition:
Good authentic vintage condition with age-related signs of use. The veneer shows minor scratches, edge and surface marks as well as slight irregularities. Some signs of use are also visible inside.
