Functional vintage folding table from the institutional sector, dating from the 1980s. Its clear, functional design combines a round dark brown tabletop with a sturdy metal column base and a star-shaped base – typical of robust furniture used in cafés, canteens, meeting rooms or other public facilities.

The integrated folding mechanism is particularly interesting. Using the solid metal construction and the release bar beneath the tabletop, the tabletop can be folded upwards by 90 degrees from its horizontal position. This means the table requires significantly less space when not in use and can be stored conveniently.

The dark brown-coated metal frame consists of a central column and a five-arm star base. The widely extending feet ensure a secure stand and are fitted with small floor glides at the ends. The understated construction and warm brown tone give the table a beautiful authentic 1980s character.

The round tabletop has a dark brown surface with a dark edge all around.

Condition: 
The table is in good used vintage condition. The tabletop, edge and metal frame show age- and use-related signs such as light scratches, abrasion and patina.
