Decorative vintage glass bowl made of light blue-tinted pressed glass with expressive, sculptural shaping.

The bowl has a distinctly curved, wave-shaped rim with ends pulled outwards and partly rolled in. Strong, radiating ribs extend upwards from the solid base, creating a beautiful interplay of light, reflections and different shades of blue.

Through the combination of a floral-looking silhouette, heavy pressed glass and geometric relief, the design clearly recalls European Art Deco glassware from the 1940s.

Ideal as a fruit or confectionery bowl, for jewellery and small objects, or simply as a decorative glass object on a sideboard, table or in a display cabinet.

Condition
Good used vintage condition with age-related signs of wear. The glass shows occasional light surface and usage marks.

Dimensions: L24 x W24 x H14 cm
