Rare Italian table lamp in coloured plastic with an expressive, almost graphic formal language. The lamp consists of a curved tiltable shade made of yellow plastic, held by lateral carrying elements executed in red. The base is designed in a strong yellow and provides a secure stand. The reduced mechanics, the clear silhouette and the playful colourfulness clearly place the object in the context of Italian plastic and Space Age design of the 1970s. On the underside is the original maker's stamp Old Timer – Sormani – design dep. Verona – made in Italy, which clearly proves the origin. The lamp has a white cable with inline switch and produces a pleasantly diffuse, forward-directed light.

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related signs of use. Light scratches, abrasion and patina on the plastic, especially on the base. Technically functional.
