Expressive TOBIAS cantilever chairs by IKEA, designed by Carl Öjerstam. The transparent magenta to brownish-red violet seat shells, combined with the chromed tubular steel frames, give the chairs a light, almost floating appearance.

The seat and back shell made of transparent polycarbonate has an ergonomic curved shape and is connected to the frame by distinctive round metal fittings. Thanks to the cantilever construction, the frame yields slightly when seated on, providing comfortable seating. At the same time, the translucent material makes the chairs appear visually light despite their strong colouring.

Condition: 
The chairs are in used condition with visible signs related to age and use. The transparent shells have scratches and, in some places, more pronounced signs of use, as documented in the detailed photos. The chromed frames also show slight signs of use.
