Iconic Eclisse table lamp, designed in 1965 by Vico Magistretti for Artemide. The design is considered one of the best-known Italian design classics of the Space Age era. It is characterised by the spherical construction with a hemispherical base and a rotatable inner reflector, which allows the light aperture to be adjusted continuously – similar to a solar eclipse, giving the model its name Eclisse. This example is made in the classic finish of yellow painted metal and is one of the rare colours. The strong colouring emphasises the playful, futuristic character of the design and makes the lamp a striking accent on a sideboard, bedside table or shelf. On the underside is the original stamping Artemide Milano – modello Eclisse – design Vico Magistretti – made in Italy, which confirms the origin.

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of use. Small scratches and minimal paint wear on the surface. Function checked and fully working.
