Characteristic table lamp by French designer Robert Caillat from the 1950s. The slim metal frame transitions into a gently curved, conical lampshade, painted in a light yellow tone. A surrounding row of holes in the upper part of the shade creates subtle light accents and points to the functional-elegant design approach of post-war modernity. The shade can be adjusted via a brass joint and allows targeted light direction—ideal as a desk or side lamp. An integrated push-button switch on the lamp head rounds off the thoughtful, reduced design. The lamp is representative of French industrial design from the 1950s, combining technical functionality with a clear, timeless formal language. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related signs of use and slight paint wear on the frame. The cable has been replaced and is new; the electrics are fully functional.
