Rare table seat by the Swiss manufacturer Th. Röschli (Kollbrunn, ZH), a characteristic example of functional mid-century design from the 1950s. The sturdy metal construction with side clamping arms allows secure attachment directly to the table edge, so the child sits at eye level with the adults. The seat is upholstered with a striped cover in black and yellow, framed with decorative rivets that give the object a graphic yet playful touch. The combination of industrial mechanics, functional structure, and clear design makes this piece an authentic representative of Swiss post-war design. The wooden armrests provide a warm contrast to the technical metal frame. Today it’s not only functional, but above all a rare collector’s item with high decorative value—ideal for lovers of mid-century design or as an exceptional interior statement. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of use. Minor wear on metal and wood, as well as patina on the cover; overall stable and functional. Dimensions: L30 x W36 x H26 cm
