Decorative Mid-Century Sputnik ceiling light with six radially arranged arms made of brass. The star-shaped construction is reminiscent of typical atom- or Sputnik-themed designs from the 1950s to 1960s and creates a very graphic, sculptural effect on the ceiling. The slender brass arms extend from a central wooden canopy and carry conical sockets in different colors – red, yellow, blue, white, black and green-yellow. These colored elements give the light a playful character and are typical of many Italian or Scandinavian-inspired designs from the post-war period. The base is made of wood and forms a warm contrast to the metal arms.

Thanks to the open design with visible bulbs, it produces an even, 360° diffused light. The light is particularly suitable for smaller room settings, hallways, or as a decorative focal point in living spaces.

Condition: Used condition with age-related patina on the brass, as well as minor signs of use on the wooden base and the sockets.
