Set of four exceptional design stools from Kartell’s La Bohème series, designed by French designer Philippe Starck. The La Bohème 3 model combines the elegant silhouette of a classic vase with the functionality of a modern seat.

The bulbous, amphora-like shape with a flared rim and narrow base gives the stools their distinctive character. Made of transparent, colour-dyed plastic, they create fascinating colour reflections and a special spatial effect depending on the incidence of light.

Violet, crystal clear, green and red. Together, they form a colourful ensemble that looks excellent both individually and in various combinations.

The interplay with their function is particularly appealing: what initially appears to be a decorative floor vase reveals itself to be a versatile stool. The models can be used as additional seating, sculptural occasional furniture or decorative design objects in the living area, studio or a modern interior.

Condition: Used condition with visible scratches, fine surface marks and isolated abrasions. The signs of use are particularly visible on the crystal-clear example. The coloured surfaces also show traces related to age and use.
