Exceptional and rare pendant lamp with a spherical shade made of translucent plexiglass featuring a distinctive bubble relief. The surface consists of densely arranged, hemispherical elements that wrap in a ring shape around the entire body, creating a plastic, almost sculptural light structure. When switched on, it produces softly refracted, atmospheric light with fascinating interplay between transparency and reflection. The 32 cm ball appears light and almost suspended despite its volume. The construction features a centrally guided metal rod with the original suspension and a black spiral cable – a typical detail from the 1970s. The relief structure formally recalls Space-Age designs from this era and is artistically positioned between pop design and futuristic light architecture. A characterful statement piece that delivers an impressive effect whether installed as a solitary item or in a series. 

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related patina on the suspension. Light soiling in the upper inner area as well as minimal signs of use on the plastic. Stable structure, no structural cracks visible. Electronics functional.
