Characterful ceramic jug from the 1960s with a sculptural feel and a clear, reduced language of form. The rounded body flows seamlessly into a narrow spout, while the elegantly curved handle gives the object an almost graphic silhouette. The deep matte black glaze emphasizes its calm presence and evokes the organically shaped designs of Mid-Century ceramics, as they were especially common in the Netherlands and Scandinavia. The compact size makes this piece versatile—both as a decorative single object and as a functional small pouring or flower jug. The handwritten signature on the underside points to an atelier or small-batch production, adding extra collector appeal. Condition: Good vintage condition with minor age-related signs of wear. Minimal scuffing marks on the standing rim and, in places, fine surface marks on the glaze. No cracks or chips.
