In the foreground, a still largely undeveloped area can be seen, with several people present. Vehicles, simple commercial buildings and the historic architecture in the background shape the cityscape. The contrast between the traces of the post-war period that still remain and the urban everyday life that was already beginning to resume is particularly fascinating.

The photograph is executed in black and white and, through its documentary visual language, has a strong historical character. The print is mounted with a wide white mat in a simple black frame behind glass.

Good vintage condition. The frame shows slight signs of use. The photograph and glazing are overall in well-maintained condition.
