Striking, narrow-proportioned Chinese wedding cabinet with bright red lacquer and traditionally styled metal fittings. Its tall, slender silhouette and slightly tapering shape give the cabinet an elegant, architectural appearance without taking up much floor space.

The front is defined by two narrow framed doors, closed with decorative fitting plates and a classic through-bolt latch. The red lacquered surface displays a beautiful, naturally developed patina with wear, small scratches and darker signs of use on the edges and mouldings. These traces in particular give the piece its authentic vintage character.

The interior is finished in a dark or black colour and fitted with several fixed shelves. 

The traditional red colour creates an appealing contrast with the dark interior finish and the metal fittings.

Condition: Good used vintage condition with pronounced age- and use-related patina. Visible wear marks, small scratches, discolouration and edge wear are present and emphasise the furniture’s original character.
