This pared-back wooden chair impresses with its clear, functional design and a pleasantly restrained language of forms, as is often found in the central European area. Made from solid beechwood, the chair features a warm, naturally aged surface with a beautiful patina that gives the object an authentic appearance. Characteristic is the slightly backward-tilted backrest with horizontal slats, which not only structure visually but also provide ergonomic support. The seat is simple and solid and rests on four subtly tapering legs, with the rear legs elegantly swinging backward and transitioning into the backrest. This discreet line makes the chair feel light despite its simplicity. The construction is solid and built for longevity—typical of everyday furniture from this period—ideal as a single piece, as a complement to a rustic table, or as a deliberately understated contrast in modern interiors. Condition: Used condition with visible signs of wear, pressure marks and patina on the seat as well as light signs of age on the frame. Stable and fully functional.
