This elegant, slenderly proportioned tall cabinet from the 1960s combines functional clarity with a warm, homely presence, and is a typical example of the reduced form language of the Mid-Century era. The cabinet body is finished in finely grained walnut veneer, whose lively, slightly cloud-like pattern gives the piece depth and character. This is particularly beautifully shown in the open shelving compartments, which are ideal for displaying books or objects. In the lower section, three drawers with white lacquered fronts provide an exciting contrast to the warm wood tone. The round handles with a light inlay underscore the charming, slightly playful spirit of the 1960s and at the same time set a design accent.
