Simple and characterful seating benches made of fir wood with a traditional mortise-and-wedge construction. Their reduced form recalls early Alpine country furniture and workshop furniture from the 1950s and 1960s, and impresses with its honest materials and handcrafted execution. The benches are made from sturdy solid-wood planks with a beautiful naturally formed patina, visible grain and structural wooden joints. Particularly striking are the cut-out side panels and the simple cross brace, which give the benches their stable yet at the same time archaic presence. Thanks to the raw workmanship and visible signs of use, an authentic rustic character is created with an almost sculptural appearance. The narrow proportions make the benches versatile in their use — ideal as a bench in the entrance area, at the dining table, in a kitchen, as a decorative object in a country-house style, or also in modern interiors as a warm contrast to minimalist furnishings. The construction can also be easily disassembled and transported.

Condition: Used vintage condition with clear age-related signs of wear, notches, pressure marks, scratches and patina. Some partially irregular edges and traces of earlier use are present. Stable and fully functional.
