Active today
Striking vintage porcelain vase by Royal Porzellan Bavaria KPM, Germany.

The vase has a compact, tall rectangular shape with softly rounded edges and an intensely glossy cobalt-blue glaze. Particularly distinctive is the sculpted relief on the front and back: concentric, wave-shaped lines converge towards a central gold-coloured accent, giving the piece an almost graphic, sculptural effect.

The combination of deep cobalt blue and gold is typical of decorative German porcelain work from the second half of the 20th century and looks distinctly modern again today. The gold-coloured centre creates a strong contrast with the dark glaze; the opening is additionally framed with a fine gold rim.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition with light age- and use-related signs. The glossy glaze and relief appear well preserved. The gold accents are also in generally good condition; minor age-related rubbing may be present.

Dimensions: diameter 9 x H19 cm
  • Condition: Used - Good
  • Color: Blue, Gold
