Classic pedestal side table from the 1950s with an iconic, organic design language of Mid-Century Modern. The round tabletop rests on a central, elegantly curved pedestal base with a four-armed star base, giving the design sculptural lightness. Both the tabletop and the frame were later overpainted in black. Originally, the table was fully executed in white, which is typical of designs from this period. Today’s dark surface gives the piece a modern, reduced look and creates an exciting contrast with the original design.

Condition: Good used condition with age-typical signs of wear. Light scratches and wear on the surface as well as smaller signs of use on the pedestal base. The paint finish shows occasional slight irregularities.
