Characterful Swedish spindle chair by Nässjö Stolfabrik AB, made for the furniture brand Nesto.

The chair displays the typical Scandinavian design language of its period: a slightly curved backrest, slender splayed legs and five finely turned back spindles. The braces between the legs provide additional stability and echo the design of the backrest with their turned details. Despite its traditional construction, the chair appears light and elegant.

The wine-red to dark-red finish is particularly appealing, giving the classic Swedish wooden chair a strong graphic expression. The visible wood grain and patina developed over decades give the piece a very authentic vintage character.

Condition: Authentic vintage condition with clear age- and use-related traces. The red finish shows wear, scratches and minor losses, particularly on the backrest and edges, and partly on the seat and frame.
