This characterful coffee table from the 1970s impresses with its warm presence and an exceptional design language that catches the eye immediately. The rectangular tabletop with softly rounded corners and a slightly raised edge is reminiscent of classic serving trays. The wood shows a lively, striped grain typical of cherry wood. The surface has been beautifully refinished and highlights the natural depth and character of the wood particularly well. The most striking feature is the sculptural base: several solid elements arranged vertically form a stable foundation. The combination of clear geometry and soft curves is typical of the design signature of the 1970s and brings to mind high-quality Scandinavian as well as Italian designs from that era.

Condition: Very good condition with light, age-typical signs of use. Surface refreshed, nice patina.
