Distinctive vintage sofa by Ligne Roset featuring an expressive combination of red smooth leather and a solid black-finished wooden frame.

The design is largely defined by the openly visible frame construction. The broad, straight-lined wooden elements create a strong contrast with the softly upholstered seat and back cushions. The particularly wide armrests extending outwards at the sides, together with the visible construction at the back, give the sofa an individual, architectural presence.

The generous upholstery is fully covered in red smooth leather. The leather displays a pronounced patina resulting from use, with creases and varying colour nuances that emphasise the sofa’s vintage character. The combination of vivid red and black wood creates a striking contrast of materials and colours.

Condition: Used vintage condition with clear signs of age. The leather shows creases, abrasion, superficial signs of use and heavier wear in places. There is a clear tear in the leather at one point on the seat. The black wooden frame shows scratches, scuff marks and minor chips along the edges.
